-Generating a basic bodice pattern from the stand-

This is one of the lessons i have enjoyed most from the begining of the course. During the course i of the morning we learnt how to start producing patterns from a stand. Being taught this will be very helpful thoughout the course as this lets me to be more creative with creating garments and not having to worry about creating a pattern afterwards which isnt one of my strongest subjects. After a morning or creating a basic bodice i was starting to feel more confident and can’t wait for moree!!! :)

-Not As Bad As I Thought-

A garment specifcation hasnt always took my fancy but after learning how to create a detailed specification for my own garment for industry the subject became a little bit more exciting. I have been taught about specifications before but only in little detail and i didnt really realise how much work has to be put into these in the real industry otherwise all the other aspects dont match.

After choosing one of my favouriate designers i gatthered a couple of images to create a my own unquie layout of the designers images. I did this by using the photoshop tools to create different effects and to be able to combine all images into one.
